Disney Theatrical Group and the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) announced that the long-awaited return engagement of Disney’s THE LION KING and tickets are now available! Providence’s most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the PPAC stage on Wednesday, May 20 at 7P for a limited, three-week engagement through Sunday, June 7 at 1P. The opening night is Thursday, May 21 at 7:30P. The Providence engagement of Disney’s THE LION KING is a subscription offering of the Encore Series. Cox Media is the Series’ media sponsor.

Disney’sTHE LION KING has been touring North America for more than 24 years, and during that time has welcomed over 25 million theatergoers, making it North America’s longest-running and most-attended Broadway tour. Having already played more than 10,000 performances in over 90 cities across North America, THE LION KING now proudly returns to Providence at the Providence Performing Arts Center.
