Fall is doing its thing, and South Kingstown Parks and Recreation is going all in. Grab your paint shirts (you know the ones) because there's a whole week of free pumpkin painting fun leading up to one of the best family nights of the season.

Here's how it works. Starting September 28, you can swing by the SK Recreation Center and paint a pumpkin right there. They will have the pumpkins and the paint; you provide the kiddos with the big ideas.
No registration, no fee, no stress.
Just drop in anytime between 10 AM and 6 PM, September 28 through October 1.
Prefer to do your masterpiece at home? Painted or carved pumpkins are both welcome. Just drop yours off at the SK Recreation Center anytime between September 28 and October 2 at 3 PM, and they'll get it lined up along the path.
Then on Friday, October 2, from 5 to 7 PM, all those pumpkins will be on display at The Great Pumpkin Path and Trunk-or-Treat at the Village Green at The Neighborhood Guild, 325 Columbia St. South Kingstown's First Responders will be out with their trucks for trunk-or-treating, which is honestly one of those nights the kids talk about until Christmas.

And here's the fun part. Joyce's Jungle will be at the Pumpkin Path handing out free Boo-Bags to the kiddos. Each bag has local deals, class info, activities, and yes, candy. They're limited and first come, first served, so get there early if your little one wants one.
Joyce's Jungle has been connecting families with nature since 1999, from scales to tails and fluff and fur. They're the ones sponsoring the pumpkins this year, and we love seeing local businesses show up for community events like this.
